From our beginnings in a small home garage to becoming one of the country’s trusted names in construction supply, we’ve built our reputation on craftsmanship, reliability, and genuine customer care.
Our story began in the late 1960s when Grahame Pole started building frames and trusses from his home garage. His craftsmanship and commitment to customer service quickly built a loyal following, leading to contracts with Benchmark Building Supplies and steady business growth. After Grahame’s retirement, his sons took the reins, relocating to Plunket Avenue and expanding into timber and hardware to better serve a growing customer base.
In 1993, Mark and Judy purchased the company, continuing to grow its reputation for trust, efficiency, and quality workmanship. Ten years later, ongoing demand brought another move — this time to our current home at 122 Wiri Station Road, the hub of our operations to this day.
Our in house detailing team, some of whom have been with us for over 30 years, bring knowledge and precision to every job. They handle quoting and detailing with the accuracy needed to keep projects on time and on budget. Our team’s expertise comes from decades of hands on experience, internal training, and industry standard MiTek systems.
